Types of vehicles accepted on Stena Line

It is possible to board Stena Lines ferries with a car, camper van, van, motorbike, bicycle or as a pedestrian.

The vehicle may be equipped with a caravan or trailer, provided this is declared at the time of booking.

Facilities on Stena Line ferries

Standard cabins

Stena offers standard cabins with 2 to 6 berths, with or without porthole option, private bathroom and desk area with seat. Bed linen and toiletries are also provided.

Suites

For a more luxurious crossing, the ferry company can book a top-of-the-range cabin with sea view, including a double bed, private bathroom, separate living room with sofa, TV and fridge with minibar.

Cabins for PRMs

Stena ships are all equipped with cabins for people with reduced mobility (PRM) that are spacious enough to accommodate a wheelchair and have adapted sanitary facilities.

Cabins for animals

Stena offers pet-friendly cabins with adapted flooring and all the facilities of standard cabins.

Seats

For a comfortable and economical journey, Stena offers reclining seats in a private lounge with all the necessary amenities.

Stena offers an on-board Wi-Fi service, enabling passengers on its ships to access an internet connection throughout the crossing.

Travelling with pets with Stena Line

It is possible to board Stena ferries with a pet, as long as you declare it at the time of booking.

Your four-legged friend can be placed in a kennel, remain in your car, or spend the journey in a private cabin adapted for pets.

Modification and cancellation of tickets with Stena Line

If you have booked your Stena crossing on smartferry.com or by telephone with one of our agents, it is possible for us to modify or cancel it according to the conditions applicable to your ticket.

To do this, please contact our customer service department by telephone on 04.65.84.14.13.

If you have made your booking directly on Stena Line website or via another platform than smartferry.com, we will not be able to make any changes or cancellations.

Is it possible to travel without facilities on a Stena Line crossing?

It is entirely possible to travel on Stena ferries without booking a cabin or seat. Passengers without facilities will be able to stay in the communal lounges during the crossing.
