It is possible to travel on P&O Ferries with a car, minibus, camper van, van, motorbike, bicycle or as a pedestrian.

The vehicle may also be equipped with a towed item (caravan, trailer, etc) or a roof item (roof box, bicycle rack, etc) provided this is declared at the time of booking.

Facilities on P and O Ferries

Cabins

P&O cabins have 2, 3 or 4 berths, as well as power sockets, a private bathroom, sheets, bed linen and toiletries.

Outside cabins are equipped with a porthole, unlike inside cabins.

Suites

For a more luxurious crossing, P&O offers Club Cabins which, in addition to the basic amenities, are equipped with a flat-screen TV, minibar, en-suite bathroom with complimentary luxury toiletries and tea and coffee making facilities.

Cabins for PRMs

Each P&O ship has cabins adapted for people with reduced mobility (PRM) which are spacious enough to accommodate a wheelchair and have a private bathroom with easy access and a shower seat.

Cabins for animals

On some crossings, P&O offers pet-friendly cabins that include enough space for your pet to sleep and are located close to the exercise area.

Modification and cancellation of tickets with P and O Ferries

If you have booked your P and O Ferries crossing on smartferry.com or by telephone with one of our agents, it is possible for us to modify or cancel it according to the conditions applicable to your ticket.

To do this, please contact our customer service department by telephone on 04.65.84.14.13.

If you have made your booking directly on P and O Ferries website or via another platform than smartferry.com, we will not be able to make any changes or cancellations.

Is it possible to travel without facilities on a P&O crossing?

Reserving a cabin or seat is not compulsory for travel on P and O Ferries. Passengers without facilities will be able to spend their crossing in the seats available in communal areas.
